DICKERSON, Charles Franklin - Putnam

Funeral services for Charles Franklin Dickerson, 73, who died at his home at Ladoga Saturday morning, were held at the Ladoga Christian church Tuesday afternoon. Burial was made in the Ladoga cemetery. Mr. Dickerson was a brother of Mrs. E. Porter Bladyes of Roachdale. He was also a brother of W. P. Dickerson of near here, and was the father of Mrs. Grover Bladyes of near here and Mrs. Athal Bridges of Ladoga, a former local resident. Also surviving are three other children; Floyd W. Dickerson and Mrs. Ben Buser, both of Ladoga and Chester W. Dickerson of the U.S. Signal Corps, Drew Field, Tampa, Florida; another brother James Dickerson of Fort Worth, Texas, and another sister Mrs. Dan Shackelford of near Ladoga; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren   --- thanks so very much to Marilyn W. for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated !
