Clara Jane Detro, 82, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Freeman Greene County Hospital. She had been ill for the past two years. Born in Wesley, Indiana she was the daughter of Marion Bennett and Anna McClellen Bennett. Her husband, Selby Detro died September, 1961. Survivors are her children: Mrs. Carroll Goodman of Linton; Mrs. Christine Eldridge, Lafayette and Theron Risk, Portland Oregon. Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Detro was a member of the Nazarene Church of Roachdale, Indiana and lived in Roachdale most of her life. The body was taken to the Welch and Cornett Funeral Home, Linton and will later be taken to the Perkins Funeral Home in Roachdale where funeral services are set for 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
