Dee, Elmer Howard - Putnam

Elmer Howard Dee of rural Bainbridge, formerly of Covington, age 65, died June 30 in Hendricks County Hospital at Danville. He was born in Covington, September 28, 1914, the son of John and Rebecca Coonse Dee. In 1935, he married Beulah Pratt, who survives. A retired brakeman with Conrail Railroad, he was a member of the 38th Street Christian Church, Shrine and Scottish Rite in Indianapolis, Groveland Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star, Plainfield Eagles Lodge, Indiana Sheriff’s Association and Fraternal Order of Police.

  Also surviving are a son, John E. of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Thursday at Weaver-Wengler Funeral Home in Coatesville. -S
