DeCOUDRES, Nellie Wasson - Putnam

Mrs. Victoria Crutchfield received word from Mr. Fred DeCOUDRES on Tuesday of the death of his wife, who died January 1st at her home in North Liberty.  Mrs. DeCoudres was before her marriage, Miss Nellie WASSON.  She was born in Waveland July 26, 1884.  Her mother, father and one sister preceded her in death. she was married to Fred DeCoudres NOv 21, 1917.  Soon afterwards they moved to North Liberty where he was employed as a telegraph operator.  Mrs. Mattie Wassons, her mother, lived with them until her death Nov 21, 1933.  She was buried at Waveland. Mrs. DeCordes became a member of the Methodist Church in N. Liberty Thursday Jan 3.  Mrs. Crutchfield and daughter, Shirley attended the funeral  As long as her health permitted, Mrs. DeCordres came back to Waveland and Russellville to visit with her many friends.
