DEAN, Thomas Franklin - Putnam

Dean, Thomas Franklin, 73, died suddenly at the home of his brother-in-law. Henry Allen, near here Sunday morning. He was a retired farmer, and spent his entire life in Putnam and Montgomery County Indiana, having been born in the former 16 April 1871. The son of Jesse A. and Mary Matilda Hargan Dean. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Allen, who survives, 4 October 1894 in Montgomery County.  Survivors besides the widow are one daughter; Mrs. Alta Bales, a son-in-law, Lelan Bales, two grand children and three great Grandchildren all of Roachdale. A sister, Clara Brown, Danville, Illinois; two brothers Joe and Clay and two step brothers Alva and Walter Ford all of Roachdale.  Burial was in the Roachdale Cemetery - thanks to MW
