DEAN, George F. - Putnam

The death of George F. Dean, 75, occured at the home of his son Guy east of here Sunday morning following a brief illness with a heart ailment. Mr. Dean was born near here July 4, 1865, the son of William H. and Sarah Jane Holliday Dean. He was married in 1886 to Viola W. Wilson, who died January 10, 1938. Survivors include three sons; Guy at whose home he died, and Floyd J. of near here and Ward of near Ladoga, a sister Mrs. Charles Glover of near Ladoga and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Chastain funeral home here.
