DAY, Martha Case - Putnam

Mrs. Martha Case Day, age 98 years, one of the oldest residents of Putnam county, passed away Thursday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Grace Hall, in Bainbridge.  

Mrs. Day was the grandmother of Mrs. Kenneth West and Kenneth Day of this city.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Grace Hall of Bainbridge; Mrs. Amy Huffman of Buffalo, OK; and Mrs. Ethel Harper of Albuquerque, NM; and one son, Albert I. Day of Santa Fe, New Mexico. There are twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the Sands Funeral Home in Bainbridge. Burial will be in Brick Chapel Cemetery.
