DAWSON, Frank (Rev) - Putnam

The remains of Rev. Frank Dawson who was drowned while fishing in California several weeks ago, have arrived in Bainbridge and the funeral services will be held at the Brick Chapel Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Burial will be in the Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Dawson was pastor of the Bainbridge Church for a number of years while a student in DePauw University and his mother lives in Bainbridge. He was widely known in Bainbridge and in this city. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Morton and that lodge will have charge of the burial Sunday afternoon. It was Rev. Dawson’s request that his body be cremated and returned to this county for burial by Morton Lodge in the Brick Chapel Cemetery. - kbz
