DAVIS, Wilbur - Putnam

Wilbur Davis, 23, of Indianapolis was killed Saturday evening near Cloverdale when he lost control of his automobile on a curve in State Road 43 and crashed into a culvert. He died instantly. A companion, Miss Emily Sargent, 32, of Linton was critically injured and was rushed to the county hospital by Howard Williams of Greencastle, formerly of Roachdale, who drove by soon after the accident.  --- thanks so very much to Marilyn W. for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated !
