DAVIS, Jessie Skelton - Putnam

Mrs. Jessie Skelton Davis, 69 of Rt 8 died at 2 a.m. Thursday in the methodist Hospital at Indianapolis.  Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Monson Funeral Home where friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was born in Roachdale, Ind and was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ.  She married Isaac Winters Davis on Dec 13, 1921 in Roachdale. He died Feb 18, 1961. Surviving is a son, George H, Oakland Park, Fla; daughter Mrs. George (Eleanor) Riba, Indianapolis, Ind; 7 grandchildren; sister Mrs. Harold (Cynthia) Gossett, Morrisonville, Ind; brother Richard C. Skelton, Roachdale, Ind. - kbz
