DAVIES, Mandy Duncan - Putnam

Mrs. Mandy Davies, daughter of John and Francis Duncan was born at Quincy, Indiana Dec 6th and died at Greencastle, Indiana December 15th, 1919 age 61 years 11 months and 19 days. She was united to Rufus Davies, Jan 3rd, 1877. To this union three children were born, namely, Ellsworth, Columbia and Ethel.  Columbia preceded her to the world beyond.  Sister Davies united with the Baptist Church at Quincy, Indiana several years ago and remained a member of that denomination until her death.  She was a home-loving mother and did her best to rear her children as they should be reared.  She had lived in Greencastle for many years and had made many friends by her kindness towards her neighbors. Mrs. Davies leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two children, four grandchildren and many relatives and friends. - kbz
