Rites Held for Fred Dahlgren

Last rites for Fred Dahlgren, 83, were held in, the Russellville Christian church at 11 o'clock Monday morning in charge of Rev. Ralph D. Spencer of Martinsville who was assisted by Rev. Russell Myers. Burial was in the Hebron Cemetery.

Mr. Dahlgren, of near Russellville, a farmer in Montgomery and Putnam counties 37 years, died Saturday morning in Culver Hospital where he had been a patient eight days.

Born at Eldon, Iowa, Mr. Dahlgren was the son of Charles and Mandy Dahlgren. He married Ella Ratcliff who preceded him in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Byron Gegnor of Russellville; seven stepchildren, Milbert Ratcliff and Mrs. Eustace Tilney, both of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Rafe McGaughey and John Ratcliff, both of Russellville, Cline Ratcliff of Bainbridge; Mrs. Harry Powers of North Vernon, and Rudolph Ratcliff of Marengo Ill., and a brother Oscar Dahlgren of Iowa.
