The funeral of Wiilliam Cunningham, Jr. 42, World War veteran who died at 2:25 p.m. Thursday at the Veteran’s Hospital in Marion after a three weeks’ illness, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Earl K. Parson mortuary, 801 W. Adams St. The Rev. CR Mattison, pastor of the North Side Church of the Nazarene will be in charge.  Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary.  Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Cunningham, Sr of 1420 S. Liberty St and two sisters, Mrs. Lee Stone of Muncie and Miss Delia Cunningham at home.  Born in Roachdale, he had lived in Muncie for 20 years, making his home with his parents. During the WW he served five months in France as a member of Company B, the first gas regiment of the regular army. - kbz
