CUNNINGHAM, Rose - Putnam

Miss Rose Cunningham, formerly of Terre Haute passed away Jan 28 at the Emily Flinn Home in Marion, Indiana. She was 85 years old.  Her parents were the late James and Emma Cunningham. A cousin of Mrs. Wilbert Gilstrap, Miss Cunningham visited many times in their home in the Pinhook Community.  She assisted with the care of her aunt, Mrs. Amanda Cunningham, mother of Mrs. Gilstrap.  Although Rose never married, she reared four children of her deceased sister. Mrs. Gilstrap lived with her while attending school in Terre Haute. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Greencastle and burial in Brick Chapel in Putnam County.  Miss Cunningham’s birthday was in early February and Mrs. Gilstrap had planned to visit with her at that time.
