Mrs. Emma Belle Cunningham, 84, a former resident of the Fincastle community, died early this morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Rose W. Sadler, in Indianapolis. Death was caused by a stroke of apoplexy. Mrs. Cunningham was born at Bainbridge March 25, 1855, a daughter of John M. and Mary Ann Steele Wampler. She was married December 14, 1873, to James Alexander Cunningham, who preceded her in death July 21, 1930. She was a member of the Fincastle Christian church. Besides the sister at whose home she died, Mrs. Cunningham is survived by a daughter, Rose Beatrice Cunningham, at home; a brother, George L. Wampler of Spencer, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. E. L. Day of Indianapolis officiating. Burial will be made in Brick Chapel cemetery.
