CUNNINGHAM, Claudie Akers - Putnam

RUSSELLVILLE – Mrs. Claudia L. Cunningham, 70, died Friday morning at her home south of here after a long illness. Mrs. Cunningham was a member of the Portland Mills Christian Church, OES at Morton and the Russellville American Legion Auxiliary. She had resided most of her life in Russellville and Portland Mills communities. A Parke County native, she was born Jan. 16, 1899, a daughter of Charles and Susan Akers. She married Ray C. Cunningham May 27, 1920. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Barker of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Chester Spencer of Roachdale and Mrs. James Clodfelter of Morton; 1 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Portland Mills Christian Church. Interment will be in Portland Mills Cemetery. Friends may call at McGaughey and Son Funeral Home at Russellville after 1 p.m. Sunday.   --– jlr
