RAYMOND CROSBY, 88, ROACHDALE, PASSED AWAY WEDNESDAY AT BEN HUR NURSING HOME IN CRAWFORDSVILLE.

Born in Franklin Township, Putnam County, May 20, 1888, he was the son of Charles and Eva Edwards Crosby.

Mr. Crosby, a retired farmer, married Lola Miller in 1913, and she survives.

He was a director in the Farm Bureau Co-op and a member of the Roachdale Presbyterian Church.

Other survivors besides the wife are: Two sons, Clifford, Roachdale, and Frank, Indianapolis; one brother, Claude, Roachdale; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Perkins Funeral Home in Roachdale with burial in the Roachdale Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.

Roachdale - Raymond Crosby, 88 of Roachdale, a retired farmer and director of Putnam Co Farm Bureau Coop, died Wednesday in Ben Hur Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. He was a member of Roachdale Presbyterian Church. Mr. Crosby was born in Putnam County May 20, 1888, a son of Chalres and Eva Edwards Crosby. He married Lola Miller in 1913. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Clifford of Roachdale; and Frank of Indianapolis; a brother, Claude of Roachdale; and 4 grandchilren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Perkins Funeral Home at Roachdale.
