CROSBY, Joe Harve - 1948 - Putnam

Roachdale, Jan. 25. -- Joe Harve Crosby, 87, a retired farmer and one of the largest landowners in Putnam county, died at his home here Sunday night.  He had been bedfast three years.

Mr. Crosby, the Son of E. O. and Martha Crosby, was born in Putnam county, June 17, 1861.  He was married to Martha E. Miller, also of Putnam county, Dec. 21, 1887.  He was a member of the Roacgdale Christian church and the Masonic lodge here.

Surviving are the widow: a son Byron, a brother, Ed, all of Roachdale, and two sisters, Miss Corda Crosby of Roachdale and Mrs. Lizzie Hill of Lizton.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
