Lifetime Roachdale Resident, Succumbs

ROACHDALE - Corda Mae Crosby, a life resident of the Roachdale community, died Monday at 9:15 a.m. at the home of her sister, Mrs. Jane Hill, at Lizton. She had been ill about 30 days.

Born May 1, 1872, at Putnam County, she was the daughter of Elisha and Martha Miller Crosby.

She was a member of the Roachdale Presbyterian Church and of the CES.

Surviving are Mrs. Hill and a brother, J. E. Crosby, of Roachdale.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. (CST) from the Chastain Funeral Home, Rev. Virgil D. Hagan of Indianapolis will be in charge and burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery.
