Dora (Dode) Crodian, 67, widely known Montgomery County farmer, died at his home in Ladoga at 5 o’clock Tuesday evening. He had been ill for the past six years and suffered a serious stroke on Dec 10. Mr. Crodian was born and reared north of Fincastle in Putnam County, the son of Simpson and Minnie Crodian. On Sept 4, 1907 he was united in marriage to Flora C. Brookshire, who survives.  Mr. Crodian was a member of the Ladoga Presbyterian Church and an honorary member of the Lions Club and the Roachdale Masonic lodge.  Survivors include the widow; one son, Thomas William Crodian of Ladoga; one brother, Glenn Crodian of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Yokum of Morton; his step mother, Mrs. Daisy Alexander of Morton and one grandson.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Landy. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Ladoga Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Elbert Smith Jr will officiate and burial will be in Roachdale cemetery.
