CRANE, John - 1890 - Putnam

John Crane, who recently removed to Muncie, died last night at the residence of Frank McGrath in that city.  He was well known in this city where he resided for 40 years, and was respected by all.  He was aged about 75 years. Two children, Mrs. Frank McGrath and Mrs. Frank Carter of Lafayette, survive him.  The late John Crane, the politician was his son. The remains will be ought to Greencastle tomorrow for interment and the funeral will take place from the Catholic Church. - kbz
