CRANE, Albert - Putnam

Albert Crane, 80, 200 1/2 E. Market St, died in Culver Hospital at 4:55 pm. Sunday. He had been in ill health since May 1969 and hospitalized for the past week. He was born March 26, 1890 in Russellville to Calvin W. and Cynthia Gleesen Crane. He was married to Evelyn Sample Rudisill Oct 31, 1948. She died in November 1957. Mr. Crane was custodian at Strand Theater for 18 years and member of Wallace Lutheran Church. For the past several years he had lived during the summers at the Tom Grimes residence near Wallace. Survivors include a grandson, David Burroughs of Crawfordsville; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Gomella Sample and Mrs. Mazel Zakcmire, both of Wallace and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wed at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. John Stacey officiating. Burial in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
