Services were June 10 at the Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle for James W (Bill) Craig, age 77, Coatesville who died June 8 in Greencastle, Rev. Paul Taylor officiated.  Burial was in the Fillmore Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Born April 1, 1917 in Lawrence County, he was the son of EA and Ruth (Day) Craig.  He married the former Barbara Terrell on Aug 20, 1938 at Bedford.  She survives.  Mr. Craig attended Central Normal College, Indiana State University and received his master’s degree for Indiana University.  He taught school 42 ½ years ag Lawrence County, Shelby County, Martinsville, Fillmore and retired from Greencastle.  He was a member of the Fillmore United Methodist Church and Fillmore Masonic Lodge #155.  He was also a charter member of the Fillmore Lion’s Club.  Survivors in addition to his widow are a daughter, Bonnie Chadd of Crawfordsville; a son, Jim Craig of Athens, Ala; a sister, Dorothy Young of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Kristen Pool and DC Chadd; a step grandson, Pat Stine; a step great granddaughter, Elizabeth Stine and several nieces and nephews.  --- transcribed by  kbz
