Greencastle, Jan 7 – A sudden exertion, made in an attempt to hail one of the neighbors who was driving past her home, caused the death of Mrs. Curtis Craft, the wife of the prominent farmer of Washington township at near 8 o’clock Saturday morning. The cause of the death of Mrs. Curtis as stated in the verdict rendered by JE McCurry, the county coroner, was heart trouble. Mrs. Craft had received a telephone message early in the morning from one of her neighbors asking her to deliver a message to the neighbor’s husband, who was then on his way to t he interurban crossing to catch a car. Mrs. Craft was unable to make the man hear her as he drove past the Craft home and in order to attract his attention she ran to a nearby hill and from there called to him. She succeeded in her mission, but a few minutes afterward the attack of acute heart trouble seized her and she died while walking to her home. The deceased is survived by the husband and four children.
