The funeral of Gilbert Craddick, the 15-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. L.F. Craddick, three miles north of Cloverdale who was electrocuted last Wednesday morning was held this afternoon at the home. The boy was attempting to put up a “Peaches for Sale” sign and was stretching a wire across the road. The wire came in contact with the high voltage electric light wires and he was instantly killed. - transcribed by kbz
