Well Known Clinton Township Man Dies at Home

William T. Cox, age 70 years, well known Clinton township resident, passed away late Sunday afternoon at home near Clinton Falls, following three weeks illness. He is survived by ten children: Stewart L. Cox, Oakland City, Elmer Cox, Fred Cox, Mrs. Boyd Gerald of Greencastle, Clarence Cox, Leana, Mrs. Louise Shonkwiler, Clayton Cox, and Mrs. John Wells all of near Greencastle and Martha F. Cox of South Bend, and James F. Cox at home. Sisters, Mrs. (Mary Cox) Charley Cox and Mrs. John Roach of Greencastle. Three brothers, Oby Cox, Cleve Cox, Lonnie Cox, three half brothers, Omer, Homer and Hobart Cox of Indianapolis and sixteen grand-children also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Clinton Falls church. The Rev. William McKeehan will be in charge.

NOTE from ML Hazelrigg: Wm. Thomas Cox was the son of Richard Marion Isaac & Martha Wilson Moss Cox Cox. Yes, they were distant cousins.
