Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Temple at Garden of Memories for Mrs. Paul Cowan 82 of Woodlawn Convalescent Home who died at 11 a.m. Sunday of complications of advanced age. The Rev. Robert Bell of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories. Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West after 5 p.m. Monday. The casket will not be opened. She was born Margaret L.. Kreigh, June 21, 1888, at Stilesville, Ind the daughter of William and Maggie Mahoney Kreigh. She was married to Paul D. Cowan on Oct 6, 1915 at Greencastle, Ind. She lived in Waterloo for the past 33 years and was a voice teacher at the Music Corner for many years. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband at Woodlawn Convalescent Home; one son William K. Cowan of Northridge, Calif; one daughter, Mrs. Tom Nicholson of Williams Bay, Sic and one sister, Mrs. WJ Ryan of Los Antos, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents.
