Jean R. Couch, 71, died Monday at Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. She was a resident of Cloverdale and former resident of Indianapolis. She was born March 25, 1921 in Sabina, Ohio. She married Robert B. Couch. He preceded her in death. Survivors include five sons, Jack L. Sargeant and David W. Smith, both of Cloverdale; Richard G. Sargeant, James D. Smith and Robert J. Smith, all of Indianapolis; two daughters, Effie Miller of Cincinnati and Gail Gillum of Indianapolis; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was a homemaker. The Rev. Jack Fleming will conduct a service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Wilson St Pierre Funeral Home in White River Township. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Interment at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. - kbz
