COOK, Kathryn Wilson Heath - Putnam

Word has been received here of the death of Kathryn Heath Cook, 86, of Greencastle. She died Tuesday Feb 21, 1995 at her home.

A member of Hannah Street Baptist Church, she formerly worked for Lone Star Industries and later retired from Montgomery Ward.

Funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home at Greencastle. Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery in Greencastle.  

Mrs. Cook was born June 15, 1908, the daughter of Lewis and Myrtle McCown Wilson.  She first married Geddis G. Heath who preceded her in death in 1966. She later married Ivan Cook who preceded her in death in 1983.

Survivors include a son, Jack Heath of North Vernon; a daughter, Reita Wood of Reelsville; a stepdaughter, Iola Cook Miller of Greencastle; a sister, Edith Reed of Greencastle; 11 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Geddis G. Heath; a daughter, Barbara E. Heath; brothers, Chester and Jim Wilson and a sister, Norine Bennington.
