Cloverdale, In July 27 – Funeral services for Lee Roy Collins who lost his life on the Western front in France July 28, 1918 will be conducted from the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon. Collins was the first man from this township to lose his life in the late war. He was a member of Battery A 151 Field Artillery and served overseas with the Rainbow Division. The funeral services will be in charge of the local American Legion post. -– kbz
