COLLINS, Dr. Clement C. - Putnam

Dr. Clement C. Collins, widely known physician of Roachdale died at Culver Hospital Tuesday morning. He was 66 and had been a practicing physician in Roachdale since 1894. He was born July 23, 1870, in Putnam Co., the son of John and Susan Allen Collins. He married Nora L. Collins, August 22, 1894. She survives. Other survivors are the mother, two daughters; Mrs. Marion Rice, Roachdale, Mrs. Maynard King, Springfield, Illinois, three half sisters; Mrs. Winnie Hurst, Franklin, Mrs. Noda Howell, Toledo, Ohio, and Mrs. Ruth McLain of Greencastle and one grandchild, Collins Rice of Roachdale. funeral services held this afternoon with internment in Roachdale cemetery.   --- thanks so very much to Marilyn Walker for sharing her awesome obituaries with this site :)
