COLGATE, Belle - Putnam

Russellville, Dec 9 - Funeral services for Mrs. Belle Colgate were conducted from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kennedy on Tuesday Dec 8 at 10:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. JP Alford. Mrs. Colgate was the widow of John S. Colgate of New York City. It was the request of the deceased that they be interred in a country Cemetery. Mrs. Colgate died Sunday Dec 6 in Shrevport, LA. The body was accompanied by a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Atkins and son, Will Colgate both of Shreveport. The pall bearers were Donald Inge, Iver Bain, Ernest Wilson, Rhom Boyd, Edgar Pitts, Fred Scribner.
