Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal 9 January 1873 p 4
Miss Cecil Coleman of Hebron, aged 16 years, committed suicide last week by taking strychnine. The cause assigned for this rash act was general depression of spirits. A fatal misstep from path of virtue blighted the future of her young life and overshadowed her with darkness that made the grave preferable to such an existence. - kbz
