Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shipps Funeral Home, Oxford for Mrs. Elizabeth Cole. Services in Shipps Chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, Rev. RW Marrs and Rev. Elmer Smith officiating. Burial in Brick Chapel Cemetery near Greencastle. Five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren survive.

Same page: Oxford – Mrs. Elizabeth Rohm Cole, 98 of Oxford died at 8:15 a.m. Thursday in Bowles Nursing Home, Clarks Hill where she had been a patient four years. Born in Pennsylvania, she moved to Oxford from Rockville in 1919 and made her home in Oxford ever since. She was a member of Oxford Methodist Church and past matron of Oxford OES 128. She received a 50-year Eastern Star pin last year. She was married to Albert Cole who died in 1904. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leila Sanders of Oxford and Mrs. Olive Jordan of Rensselaer.
