Alfreta Fern Cloncs, 99, Roachdale, died Monday at Hendricks Community Hospital, Danville. Born Jan 1, 1898 at Ladoga, she was the daughter of Albert Severe and Rozilla (Peffley) Hurt.
A graduate of Ladoga High School, she was a homemaker and a former member of the Methodist Church at Ladoga, and a former member of the Rebekah Lodge at Ladoga.
She married Clifton Cloncs on Nov. 11, 1964 at Mt. Morenci. He died in 1979.
Surviving are two daughters, Betty R. Elless, Ladoga, and Mrs. Darrell (Alberta R.) Sandusky, Roachdale; seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Ashley.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ladoga Cemetery with Rev. William Barrett officiating.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Ladoga.
