Oscar R. Clodfelter, 77, Russellville farmer and implement salesman, died Monday in Putnam County Hospital.

A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the Russellville Christian Church. He also was a member of American Legion Post 225 and Flying Farmers, Booster and Conservation clubs.
Born July 5, 1894, he was a son of Daniel Newton and Laura Colllngs Clodfelter. He was married July 22, 1917, to Lillian Hazlett, who survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Marie Niels, Mrs. Ruby Milligan and Mrs. Romell Wrightsman, all of Russellville, and Mrs. Lynett Kelly of Indiana; a brother, Clyde of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Elsie McBride of Rockville; seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Elmer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Russellville Christian Church. Revs, Leo Thompson and Lester Niles will officiate. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the McGaughey & Son Funeral Home.
