CLARK, Bertha L. Galbreath - Putnam

Roachdale - Mrs. Bertha L. Clark, 72, who lived here all her life, died at 7:45 a.m. Monday at the Friendship Nursing Home in Ladoga after an illness of five years. She was born July 31, 1893, in Hendricks County to Samuel and Divinah Brady Galbreath. She married Asbury J. Clark Sept 7, 1821 in Paris, Ill. He died in 1937. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church at Barnard. Survivors include 3 daughters, Mrs. Roseanne Riggle of Roachdale, Mrs. Lucille Keck of Bainbridge and Mrs. Jane Jeffries of Rockville; a son, Howard of Phoenix, AZ; a sister Mrs. Gladys Riggan of Danville, Ind; 16 grandchildren two great grandchildren and four nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, a brother and three grandchildren. Services will be at 3:30 Thursday at Perkins Funeral Home in Roachdale. Burial in Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
