Mrs. Sophia Johnston received the sad message Tuesday that her brother, Rev. Herbert A. Church of Greencastle, Indiana had died suddenly at his home Monday evening, April 1.  Rev. Church, who was 71 years old, grew to manhood in Lone Elm, Kas.  He first preached at Yates Center and Garnett, Kas. He has lived in Indiana for many years. Mr. Church is survived by his wife and one son and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Sophia Johnson of Colony; Mrs. Nellie Brinckley of Los Angeles, Calif; Fred A. Church of McPherson; Mrs. George Robbins of Pittsburg and Tom A. Church of Lone Elm Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon and burial was at Newcastle (sic). Mrs. Johnston was unable to attend the funeral.
