Wife of John Henry Christy survived by two children who live in Greencastle

Mrs. Agnes Louisa Christy, age 66 years, wife of John Henry Christy, passed away at her home, 2 1/2 miles east of Greencastle early Wednesday evening. Although she had been in ill health Mrs. Christy had been ... around until recently and her sudden death was a shock to the...friends.

Mrs. Christy was born August 19...in Putnam County and had spent her entire life here. She ws the last surviving member of a large family born to Erastus Girton and Louisa Mills. She was married Jan. 13, 1887 to John Henry Christy, to whom three children were born. The surviving children are Roy Christy and Mrs. Ralph Mason, both of Greencastle. A third child, Mrs. Zella Shinn having passed away March 20, 1934. Mrs. Christy was a member of the Fillmore Christian Church and also belonged to ...Two of the Greencastle...Christian Church. She had a...acquaitance not only in her...community but over the city and county as well.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the Fillmore Christian Church. Burial will be in the Fillmore Cemetery.
