CHERRY, John W. - Putnam

Greencastle, Jan 8 – Funeral services for John W. Cherry, former city councilman and transfer operator who died Friday will be held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon.  Burial will be in Forest Hill. He was a member of the Rotary Club, the Methodist Church and took an active interest in many civic affairs. He was a county jury commissioner. - kbz
