CHASTAIN, John W. - Putnam

Funeral services were held at the Chastain funeral home Monday afternoon for John W. Chastain, 81, who died at the Putnam county hospital in Greencastle. Mr. Chastain was born near New Maysville January 19, 1851, a son of Harry and Julia Ragland Chastain. He had spent most of his life in the New Maysville community. Surviving are a brother Oliver Chastain of Indianapolis, a sister, Mrs. Mary Collins of Putnamville and several nieces and nephews.
