CHAMBERS, Mary - Putnam

The death of Mrs. Mary A. Chambers, age 89 years, for the past 10 years a resident of Greencastle, occurred at the home of a son, TD Logan, 602 South Locust Street, Saturday morning at 2 o’clock. The son and a daughter, Mrs. J.E. Cash both of this city survive. Mrs. Chambers has been a resident for 10 years living with her daughter, Mrs. Cash. Her death occurred of heart disease while she was at the home of her son. She was formerly a resident of Jefferson County. Mrs. Chambers was twice married, her first husband being Thomas B. Logan and her second, William Chambers. The funeral services will be held at the Logan home Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock conducted by Rev. C Howard Taylor. Burial will be at Kent in Jefferson County Monday. - kbz
