Tuesday night, April 29, 1941, death entered our community and ? us a good husband, father, and friend, Dora M. Chadd. Age __ years 3 months and 25 days. Mr. Chadd was born on January 4, ___ in Marion township, Putnam County, a few miles east of Greencastle, Indiana.
He was a son of the late James E. Chadd. On January 2, he was united in marriage to ___ Ettis and to this happy union a child, Ettis was born. Mr. Chadd lived his entire in this county. Twenty six years ago he joined the Eagle Lodge in ____ville, Indiana. He was a member of this lodge and a faithful member until the end. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Nora and daughter, Ettis. and other relatives and friends.
