Nampa – Funeral services for Charles A Cawley, 37 years of age, will be head Tuesday afternoon at the Robinson Chapel at 2 o’clock. They will be in charge of the Christian Church.  Mr. Cawley was born in Greencastle, Ind.  He was the leading spirit in the launching of the Western Cannin & Dehydrating Plant a few miles north of Nampa of which he was general manager. While working about the plant in August he fell and received internal injuries. Thinking nothing of them, he continued to appear at the plant. A few days later he was compelled to refrain from his duties and was confined to his bed at the Dewey Palace Hotel.  During this siege he had nine operations, none of which was effective. Sunday his condition became much worse and he succumbed late in the days.  Mrs. Cawley and her 14-year-old daughter, Miss Cornelia Cawley, some days ago arrived from New York. Besides them, Mr. Cawley is survived by a brother and two sisters, Mrs. JA Gainor of Logansport, Ind, Mrs AW Devers of Sturgis, S Dak.  Interment will be in Kohlerlawn cemetery. – kbz
