CASH, Emeline - Putnam

At the County Infirmary on July 19, 1892 one of the well-known characters of Putnam County – Mrs. Emeline Cash – passed from time to eternity.  Mrs. Cash was known all over this county, having traveled over it on foot in her varied perigrinations and her tongue traveled faster than her feet on these tours. For several years she had been supported in the County Infirmary or at the Insane Asylum at Indianapolis. She died of eresypelas and her age was 72 years. - kbz
