CASH, Clayton - Putnam

Clayton Cash of Cloverdale RR 3 died in Plainfield Thursday morning after an illness of three years.  A native of Putnam County, he was born Nov 3, 1896.  His parents were John F. and Lora Knott Cash.  He was married in 1921 to Stella Lisby who survives him.  The 79-year-old farmer had resided in the Amity area for more than 25 years. He was a member of the Amity Baptist Church. Besides his widow, Cash leaves one daughter, Mrs. Carol Macy of Plainfield; two sons, Arthur and Alva Cash both of Cloverdale RR 3; one brother, Earle Cash of Filmore RR 1, 7 grandchildren and one great grandson. Funeral services have been set for Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. The Rev. Don Lincicome will conduct the services and burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.
