						On Thursday of
last week, near Clinton Falls, O.M. Carver was riding a horse home, when the
animal stumbled and threw Mr. Carver over his head to the ground and before he
could get out of harm’s way the horse fell on him with great force, striking
him in the region of the stomach and bowels. It was thought at first that Mr.
Carver’s injuries were not dangerous, but later it developed that he had
received serious internal injuries and his condition gradually grew worse until
Sunday night when death relieved him of his suffering.  Deceased was a highly respected citizen and
his sudden taking off is widely mourned.
His age was 32, he was a son of Mr. Ben Carver and he leaves a widow and
orphan child to mourn the loss of husband and father.
