life for the better life above. With Him she trusted and loved with all her heart and with all her soul. She was born in Shelby County KY 1831 being 65 years 1 month 19 days of age. A large congregation attended the funeral services at Union Chapel. After the funeral sermon Hon Geo Hanna spoke of her as a neighbor and friend. Among many other things he said he had never heard her speak an unkind word of any one. Her bereaved husband and sorrowing children (James Wesley; Clay; Sarah; Oscar; and she had lost other children: Oliver Morton’ Martha; Nettie; Malcholm and Edgar) have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
