CARRINGTON, Nancy Elizabeth Hicks - Putnam

Rev. Cecil Franklin had charge of the funeral of Mrs. Bettie Carrington at the Browns Valley Christian Church on Monday afternoon before coming here for the funeral of Frank Moore. She was the widow of Milton Carrington who died in 1926. She was the daughter of John and America Hicks and was born Dec 7, 1844. She is survived by two sons: Leslie of Indianapolis; and Jesse of Browns Valley; and by three sisters: Mrs. Lulu Hicks; Miss Anna Hicks and Mrs. William Lydick. Burial was in Freedom Cemetery.
