CARRINGTON, Archie - Putnam

Dr. Archie E. Carrington, 62, a practicing dentist 33 years in Indianapolis before his retirement 4 years ago died yesterday in his home, 2420 North Delaware Street.  Dr. Carrington was born on a farm near Russellville and was a graduate of the Central Dental College here in 1901. He practiced dentistry in Ladoga three years before coming to Indianapolis as a young man. He formerly had offices in the Roosevelt building and later at 1603 Central Avenue. Dr. Carington was a member of the Russellville Christian Church and Masonic Lodge in that city. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Hallie L. Carrington; two sons, Herman L. Carrington of South Bend and J. Austin Carrington of Indianapolis; a brother, Manford Carrington and sister, Mrs. Lora McGaughey both of Russellville. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. -- kbz
